1. Javelin Speedsled (left)This car has a clean underbody permiting higher ground clearance than other speed cars. This car also has four lightweight 85-kilowatt electric hub motors placed in each of the wheels to eliminate the need for a large engine. This car has "smart seating." it minimizes drag with an unusual 1+2+1 seating configuration.
2. SNAP! Multicar. (Right) This is the most flexible family car ever invented. It can be one car, two cars, three, or four. Each pod has its own engine and its own wheels. The wheels are the big black rings around the out side edge. They can join together or split apart. They can be a one man car or a family Sudan. The top speed of two or more pods joined together is 150 mph. I think this pod is a great leep in the future!
3. Car boat. (Left) Have you ever wanted to drive your car straight in to a lake? With a car boat you can. There retail price is about $85,000. People drive across the English Channel with their car boat. The world record is 1 hour 40 minutes, 6 seconds set by, Richard Branson.It is capable of speeds over 100 mph on land and 30 mph on water. Some day ever one will have a car boat!

ReplyDeleteCar boats seem like a fun ride! Instead of taking the road to your destination, you'd be crossing waters! You will not experience any traffic or emissions from vehicles with that. =)
