Joe Satriani is probably one of the best guitarists in the world. He manages to fill full length albums with instrumental guitar music that combines beautiful melodies with speedy shredding. Check out the songs If I Could Fly and Surfing With the Alien.
2. Caspa
Some of the diriest, most hardcore Dubstep mixes you will hear. Check out the song Where's my Money.
3. Vaski
Another dubstep artist that makes crisp, exhilirating beats. Try the song World of Fire.
4. Yngwie Malmsteen
Shredding! This guy uses principles from classical music and combines them with modern technique to create some awesome music.
5. Rage against the Machine
Headbangers, unite! Well known for their heavy drop D riffs. Try the song Killing in the Name.
6. Tommy Emmanuel
Warning: Proceed only if you love bluegrass guitar music. But you will find out that this guy rules.
7. The Dandy Warhols
My personal favorite on this list. They are independant from record companies, so they make their music the way they want. Try the songs All the Money or the Simple Life Honey, Every Day Should Be a Holiday, and Godless.
8. Boris
They are just trying to make a racket. You will not enjoy this until 5 or 6 times of listening with an open mind, but you will find out that it is awesome.
